The Airport

While looking at Vermontasaurus, visitors are cautioned with this warning:

Vermontasaurus occupies a small piece of land on the grounds of the Post Mills airport.  This grassy airstrip – no control tower – no lights – is a busy place on sunny summer weekend days.

=========================================================================
Here’s a large glider taking off.  It’s a glider – no motor – so there’s a tow plane pulling it up until it reaches a safe height.

==============================================================================
Coming down – the same sleek flying craft, followed by the tow plane (below)

These craft are quite small. Imagine this fellow shoehorning himself into this small piece of aluminum!  (This glider is a bit smaller than the one seen above.)
